Date: 19/02/2025We've purchased a Provence dresser and a matching bedside piece.The product has arrived as a flat pack with millions screws and parts without a clear assembly instruction. (A nightmare to put together) We have called the handyman to help us with the assembly to discover soon afterwards that the sideboard could not be put together as the holes were not aligned properly and the sides would not fit nicely without being bent. We contacted the seller but he refused to help in any way. Was not willing to accept the return. Luckily the purchase was made via PayPal so I had to involve them to recover our money. We have finally succeeded, after much trouble from our end, 1.5months later. We were asked to return four bulky and heavy boxes back to the seller, ie ship them from Sydney back to Melbourne. Huge cost, which we had to incur. Hallam Home website states that they have warehouses in Sydney - this is clearly a false information too. Our experience with this company was a NIGHTMARE. STAY AWAY from them as they are horrible to deal with and the product is the worst I have seen. Hopefully this review can save other people from the same nightmare we had to deal with. Out of principle alone, I have persisted with this case to seek justice. Hope this review helps others.

Date: 28/11/2021Terrible service and quality. You need to be a tradesman to assemble their furniture. They sent the wrong sized hardware, questioned me when I explained what happened and rudely told me they will send some more so you can give it a try. I don't expect I will complete assembly and will probably have to go through the difficult process of returning everything to get a refund.
Date: 15/08/2021We purchased two bedside tables for an exorbitant price of $450. In a few days time the table started falling apart such poor quality. It is shocking to see this and the customer service is worst when requesting to take back their product and refund our hard earned money they are making our lives so difficult. Very arrogant customer service. Regret every moment for purchasing from Hallam homes. We need the product taken back and refund our $450. It's no small amount for the crap given to us.
