192.168.l.2
There are some IP addresses set
up by router manufacturers as defaults. The IP address 192.168.1.2 is included
to the addresses 192.169.01 and 192.168.2.1 in the list of defaults. This
address is default for home networks connected to few devices. This private
address can also be assigned to a device manually on the local network. For
this, people need to log into the 192.168.1.2
admin by providing the correct username and password. Since it is a private
address users cannot connect a device to the router outside the network.
Instead, they should use the public IP address of the router. NAT translation
can help in translating the private address to a public one. Being a default
address for the router does not mean users cannot change it. If any of the
users like to change from the default address can choose the address depending
on their requirements and needs. People who like to know more about the list of
access points and routers working on this default address can browse the web.
