Earworx
Earworx is a dedicated professional earwax removal service. We have been providing a safe and effective earwax removal service to Australians for five years, and our team of experienced and qualified nurses are experts in ensuring the ear health of our patients.
Earworx uses both micro-suction and curettage to gently and safely remove excess and impacted earwax from patients’ ears. While some amount of earwax is normal and healthy, a build up of earwax can be uncomfortable and painful. Our procedure begins with a registered nurse thoroughly examining the patient’s ears to determine the need for the micro-suction procedure. If excess earwax is found, we use advanced micro-suction technology or fine instruments to remove it.
The micro-suction technology operates like a small vacuum, gently removing any blockages and excess earwax via gentle suction. Fine instruments can also be used, such as curettes and forceps, to safely remove built up wax. The procedure is completely dry, preventing the risk of infection and enhancing safety for those with perforated ear drums. It takes only thirty minutes to experience clear and pain-free ears, and the procedure issafe and gentle for the patient.
Excess and impacted earwax causes a variety of uncomfortable symptoms. These range from mild discomfit to serious pain and other risks. When earwax is allowed to build up and harden within the ears, it can cause itching, a sensation of feeling blocked, and hearing loss. Some patients will also experience tinnitus, dizziness, pain and sensations of pressure.
Our friendly team are passionate about healthcare and want to ensure that no one suffers from these uncomfortable symptoms. We are proud to offer an ear care service that uses the same innovative technology preferred by Ear Nose and Throat specialists. Micro-suction and curettage is recognised as a safe and effective method for helping people with excess and impacted earwax.
We have grown as a business and now boast multiple locations across Australia. Earworx are thrilled to be able to offer this safe, effective and affordable service to people around the country. Our nurses are locals within their communities and are dedicated to providing a caring, compassionate service. We endeavour to provide high quality information on ear health, to help all members of our communities take care of their ears.
