UK Passenger Locator Formula
The journey directions will be covered in the first section of your UKPL. The second section will list your stops along the route, including whether you stopped at petrol stations or supermarkets. You should indicate how long you intend to stay in each destination city and state and if you are travelling by rail or by road. You will need to indicate the possible routes you might choose and any tolls that may apply.
The third section of UKPL asks for information about any vaccinations you have. This will also include details about any children you plan to bring on holiday. If travelling around Europe you will need to ensure you are tested according to European law, otherwise you could find yourself excluded from a travel holiday if you are found to be lacking one. If travelling around the UK you are permitted to carry one passport and one travel card. The cards are not subject to restrictions.
Next, you will find information about check-ins as well as secure storage facilities. You will need to check in with each airline servicing the airports you are travelling through as well as Eurostar and Virgin Atlantic services. You will need to check in at the airport where you are departing. Each terminal can use the same form for check-in. Secure storage is a term used to describe secure public areas where you can leave your luggage for check-in. UKPL's are allowed to check-in at Gatwick and Stansted, Birmingham New Streets, Manchester, Liverpool John Lennon International Airports, Edinburgh, Peterborough and the Scottish Borders.
