Titanium Grade 2 Sheet corrosion resistance is similar between the four C.P. grades, but mechanical properties differ along with differing iron and oxygen contents. And they provide excellent resistance to marine atmosphere and seawater corrosion. 3.7035 grade 2 sheets can be easily machined, hot worked, and welded. The annealing temperature ranges from 1200°F to 1400°F for 6 minutes to 2 hours accompanied by air cool. Stress relieving should be performed by heating at a temperature range between 900°F to 1100°F followed by either slow cooling or forced air.
