Bigpond Mail Sending Issue in Apple Phone
Are you having trouble sending Bigpond emails from your Apple
phone? It could be due to incorrect email settings or connectivity issues.
First, ensure that your iPhone or iPad has internet connectivity and is
connected via Wi-Fi or cellular data. It is also possible that the email
settings are incorrect. To check this, go to the ‘Settings’ app on your device,
then proceed to ‘Mail’ followed by ‘Accounts.’ Find your Bigpond email account
and click on it to access the details.
Check that the outgoing mail server (SMTP) has the address
mail.bigpond.com and that the appropriate security TLS options are enabled,
using port 465 or 587. Also, in the outgoing mail server settings, ensure that
your full Bigpond email address and password are entered accurately. If the
settings are incorrect, the email will not send.
If this does not resolve the issue, try deleting the Bigpond
email account from your device and adding it back. This procedure can help
resynchronize the connection between the Bigpond server and your Apple device.
It would also be wise to check for available updates on your device, as
sometimes compatibility issues can be resolved with updates. If the issue
remains, reach out to the Telstra help desk as they will be able to assist you
in resolving the issue so that you can use your Bigpond email on your Apple
phone.
