Also known as alternative dispute resolution, facilitative, solutions-focused Mediation is a productive process that can deliver wise outcomes, more quickly and cost-effectively with less stress. Mediation by skilled mediators has proven it to be highly effective in resolving disputes. Attending mediation is generally voluntary but some mediations are ordered by the courts. Before you apply for mediation you should be willing to meet with the other party to resolve the dispute. Dispute Mediation Services provide mediations at our SEQ venues in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, or by online video/Zoom conference. We can also come to you at a location anywhere in Australia. Our mediators are accredited under the National Mediator Association Standards (NMAS) and registered with the Australian Mediators Register (AMR). We are all dedicated professionals who were attracted to the new form of non-escalatory, solutions-focused facilitative mediation process where better outcomes are far more likely to be achieved than legal pathways.
