Dear Boytjie, Stem cell therapy is not an exact scnciee, there are no guarantees with this treatment and it is expensive. We took the risk because we felt it was better to try and fail than wonder what could have been. We knew that there was a high chance that it would have no impact on Steve's progress and we were so lucky that it helped him. All I can advise is that you should do as much research as possible. If you decide to go ahead find out as much as you can about he clinic before you go. The clinic Steve attended in Germany is now closed although we found them excellent: Other options that you could discuss with your doctor include hyperbaric oxygen therapy, reflexology and Zolpidem I have put together numerous other treatments on the Research Hope website if you would like to have a look: It is often a case of trial and error, Steve responded well to some treatments but not others but in every case we worked under the guidance of his doctors.
