Dr Joe Coory is a distinguished orthopaedic surgeon with specialised fellowship training and a keen focus on the shoulder and upper limb. His expertise spans a range of advanced surgical procedures, including arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, shoulder stabilisation, total shoulder replacement, and minimally invasive upper limb nerve decompressions, such as endoscopic carpal tunnel release.
After completing his orthopaedic surgical training in Australia, Dr Coory further honed his skills through the prestigious Bateman Orthopaedics Advanced Arthroplasty and Trauma fellowship. This additional training equipped him with advanced techniques in complex reconstructions of the shoulder, elbow, and knee, including tendon transfers for irreparable rotator cuff tears and both primary and revision joint replacements.
Dr Coory's commitment to excellence in orthopaedics is also evident in his research. He has authored award-winning papers on both the non-operative management of shoulder pain and innovative operative techniques.
