They lied to my elderly mother. Told her they were a carrier. They are a broker and disappeared after they got her money. The movers came in an old uhaul van with no name on it. No uniforms or name tags. They also refused to wear masks. Price was $1000 more than quoted and she had no choice because she had to leave that day.

These folks will sell your load not once but many times over. I was promised they would move us from GA to TX. they delivered a week late and then only 1/2 of the load, then another load 3 weeks later and then the last at 10 pm on a Sunday 2 weeks after that. Tons of items missing, broken furniture, glass and destroyed boxes. They sold it to a company called Keep It Moving whom sold it to 3 different companies after that. No one calls back once they sell you and you have to pay before they will unload the first box because they know it's going to be a mess. I have moved over 8 times in the last 30 years and never been through anything like this before. The customer service is great until they collect and then they will not answer your calls. The manager, Justin will promise you the world and then disappear as will Chad the rep that sold me on his honestly! I was a fool to believe a word from these folks. DO NOT USE THESE FOLKS! I paid over $10K and so far it has cost me $1100 to repair the refrigerator they completing dismantled, repairing the bed and both dressers that were broke, my beautiful china cabinet. And forget filing a claim, they will just give you the run around. It is terrible that there are companies like this out there. BEWARE!

My husband and I have moved 7 times since 2015. All but 2 of the moves were state to state. We have used many different moving companies and Adams Van Lines was the absolutely the worst experience out of all of them. I rarely post reviews, BUT I want anyone looking for a state to state move to reconsidering using Adams Van Lines. Highlighting just a few of the many issues that quite frankly I do not have time to list them all there were so many. The communication and follow up from the very beginning was challenging. Calls not returned and disconnected multiple times. Usually on this type of move you are assigned a person or a team to make sure things go smoothly. When we were contacted, we were told the problems would be resolved. NOT once were they resolve anything, we express concern. The day before the driver was to arrive, he called us. He said he would be arriving and would be taking care of the packing and moving. My husband asked about when the packing team would arrive and he said it would only be him. We have never had less than 2 people for just the packing only. We have a 4-bedroom house! We contacted the customer service number and was told they would take care of it. The driver arrived the next day and said once again it would be him only packing everything, that he did not need help. It took him 2 ½ days to pack. We paid extra for our refrigerator, washing machine and dryer to be disconnected and reconnected. My husband ended up taking care of the washing machine and dryer himself. They left the refrigerator in the garage. I had to pay another local moving company $250.00 to get it inside the house. Then call a service technician to get it working probably. Our belongings were the only ones on the truck and we had missing items. Lastly after the final inventory they over charged us almost $1500.00 and basically blew us off when we asked for a refund. Worth mentioning, they used a 3rd party mover called First Choice Moving and Storage out of Tampa, Florida who was involved in assigning the driver and packing crew. They only told us what we needed to hear and never did anything they told us they were going to do.
