Nightingale Nurses at Home provides professional and compassionate home nursing care across Sydney’s North Shore, Northern Beaches, and Ryde. We specialise in tailored in-home healthcare solutions for elderly clients, offering a wide range of services through our experienced team of Registered Nurses (RNs), Enrolled Nurses (ENs), and Personal Nurse Assistants(PNAs).

Our non-clinical services provided by our PNAs include:

Help with daily living activities, including assistance with bathing and dressing, showering and hygiene assistance, mobility aid supervision, meal preparation and feeding support, and in-home grooming assistance

Transportation services to medical or social appointments

Light housekeeping including assistance with laundry, bed making, surface cleans, and linen changes.

Our clinical services delivered by RNs or ENs include:

Health and home assessments to determine and 

prioritise your needs at home with the aim of staying at home as long as possible with as maximum independence

Wound care services, including chronic wound management, diabetic wound care, VAC therapy, stoma care, pressure sore treatment, and advanced surgical dressing support, all tailored to promote optimal healing.

Medication administration services and support, including oral and injectable medication management, topical medication application, nebuliser assistance, and dose administration aids, all delivered under the supervision of skilled ENs or RNs monitored for safety and compliance.

Continence care services, including urinary catheter insertion and care, SPC and IDC management, and bowel and bladder management at home, and continence aid supervision. We create personalised continence plans to support each client’s comfort and dignity.

Chronic disease management at home, including for diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular, and chronic respiratory conditions. Our nurses provide vital signs and blood glucose and insulin monitoring, long-term illness management, and personalised chronic disease care plans to improve quality of life at home.

Post-surgical care, including surgical wound dressing, drain management, and in-home recovery support. Our post-hospitalisation care ensures a safe transition from hospital to home with short-term nursing, rehabilitation support, and personalised recovery plans.

Dementia Care

We  provide holistic dementia care services at home, including cognitive support, dementia companionship, emotional care, overnight supervision, and assistance with ADLs for dementia patients. For those in need of social connection, we offer non-medical companion care, friendly elderly companionship, and in-home emotional support to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing.

Palliative Care
