As a seven-year-old, I wrote a short story about a boogie man with poor toileting skills. My teacher loved it so much she sent me to other classrooms for the teachers to read it to my peers. I was excited and felt empowered to share my words. I knew I wanted to be a writer when I grew up.
Though I'm writing less about boogie men these days, I still enjoy telling stories. I find storytelling is one of the best ways to attract, engage and convert clients. People love working with me because I can find the right words to say what they want to say in a way that captures their authentic voice.
I have worked in digital media for almost twenty years and I have gathered a lot of experience as an employee, contractor and freelancer in digital media with roles as a UX designer, writer, editor, video producer, online content manager and digital strategist. I’ve specialised in online content since 2004, working with big corporates and government departments. But these days I focus on copywriting and developing online content for small businesses.
