Coolum Computers
In fact, it's nothing but good news for the IT experts. Owner of Coolum Computers Wayne Old and technician Rob Sexton have moved their entire operation to a bright new location along Yandina-Coolum Road, directly opposite the Primary School. Having only opened on Monday, the guys are still busy setting up the finer details of thier premises, but are inviting of their existing clients (and those still to discover their services), to come and checkout the new look store.
Located in Shop 6, at the corner of Yandina-Coolum and South Coolum Roads, the store offers improved parking facilities and plenty of extra space to browse for those often hard to source computer essentials. Although they specialise in complete computer rebuilds and upgrades, Coolum Computers have a wide range of peripherals, software and computer components (including ink cartridges) ready to purchase off the shelf.
Currently, they are offering complete rebuilds at ONLY $599, which includes a new motherboard, processor, fan, RAM upgrade, power supply and full labour costs. All work is carried out by Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Rob Sexton, who is also able to perform technically minor data retrieval. Coolum Computers have offered Internet services in their old location for the past 10 years, and they are hoping to have the same Internet Cafe set up outside the store within the next week.
"We have a long team lease so customers can be assured that we are here to stay," said owner Wayne Old. "The store is bigger and better and we are hoping to be introducing tuition workshops in the near future."
The store also offers quick turnaround times on virus and spyware removals, slow computer fixes, phone repairs, Internet solutions and in some cases are able to downgrade different operating system versions (e.g. Vista to XP). The friendly staff can be contacted on: 547 9400 Monday to Friday 9.00AM to 5.00PM and on Saturday from 9.00AM to 12.00PM.
