| After a lot of research, we came to know that Somalis are short of water. Somalia runs a rainfall deficit in all areas, especially where most people live. The available renewable freshwater is only 2-4% of Oceania’s. SomAus wishes to improve access to safe drinking water for all communities and this can only come true by improving pumping systems, storage, and distribution. We are working on it and have been successful in providing clean water but we need your help to keep this going. Our main activities include providing potable drinking water supplies to rural and urban communities, providing water that can be used for livestock, providing water that can be used during drilling/rehabilitation of bore wells, and protecting natural spring/pools and shallow wells. |
