Date: 29/07/2015P.S as per my previous complaint posted earlier re $500 gift card from employer just rec'd news from ANZ that they have honoured my expired gift card and will receive funds in my bank account in the next couple of days. A credit to you ANZ and thank you very much.
Date: 29/07/2015Rec'd $500 g/card March 2014 from employer for 10 years long service. Thought I had lost it - my bad - then sorting through p/work and found card and tried to activate and surprise surprise EXPIRED. Rang Gift Card Planet and was adv monies lost. Not happy with response and requested to speak to someone higher up as I felt given the fact that the card had not even been activated/used and as a measure of good will they could have honoured it. Was adv to send email to complaints. Rec'd their response earlier and guess what - no go - monies lost. Not happy at all. Read many many complaints on websites and looks like no use pursuing my plea. Gift card Planet maybe you should take a leaf out of Myer's book - my brother found a Myer gift card dated back 7 years and guess what Myer honoured it - oh by the way Gift Card Planet I will be informing my employer of you lack of good will and to cease any future purchases from your company and to any company thinking of purchasing gift cards be warned and read all complaints regarding this company before contemplating making any purchases from this company.
Date: 11/03/2014Just received the gift card and when activate it it is already expired for activation. It doesn't say anything about the expiry date or issuing date. They eat your money. Never use them again.
Date: 14/01/2014I sent in the required documents in mid November 2013. I rang many times and was told many times it was on the way. The card finally arrived on 13 January 2014 stuck to a letter dated 16/12/13 with instructions that it had to be activated within 4 weeks of the date of the letter! When I try to logon to the site I get a message that the site is unavailable. I have emailed the Gift Card Planet Customer Satisfaction Manager Peter Townsead with my complaint. Mr Townsead are you there...............?
