Sydney/Canberra with plastic bar chair products for the past 5 years. We
readily supply a wide range of bar chairs, specializing in large plastics from
20mm to 340mm in height.
The
larger size of bar chair in the past were usually made of steel but this new
design replaces steel thus reducing the risk of concrete cancer and allows for
easier manual handling due to the reduction in weight of bags.
MELA products are also very suited for harsh
coastal environments which are exposed to the natural elements, as they are
rust-free.
MELA has the capacity to supply all large
projects, distributors and steel suppliers with plastic bar chairs.

MELA’s Square Design Bar Chair primary feature is that it sits very rigid on bondeck and formwork slabs, creating a safe and stable top-mat for all workers eg. concreters and steelfixers

MELA has the capacity to supply all large projects, distributors and steel suppliers with plastic barchairs. One of their projects are currently supplying bar chairs to include the Barangaroo Construction Project in Sydney, where there is a total of approximately 40 000 tonne of steel being tied.
