The NDIS require two detailed quotes for complex home modifications from qualified builders, ensuring competitive and cost-effective pricing. If the participant’s NDIS plan has plan management support included in it, it will expand their choice as they can accept quotes from builders who are registered as well as not NDIS-registered. This is especially helpful for participants in remote areas where the availability of the builders is less which makes it difficult to get more than one quote.
