CBCS is a not-for-profit organisation specialising in the provision of accommodation and care for the aged.
Established in 1976 by a group of people from NSW Christian Brethren churches (also known as the 'Open Brethren'), the organisation has developed from providing one small retirement village in Pennant Hills, to being a growing niche provider of quality services and accommodation.

To strive to be connected to the community by being inclusive, valuing all people and demonstrating Christ's love through a continuum of quality care as it is needed.
Values
In order to fulfil the Mission and Vision statements above, the values that will drive our behaviours as an organisation are:
- Christian Ethos - All people are created in the image of God and therefore are of great value to Him. Hence, we have a responsibility to care for all those who are entrusted to us to the best of our God-given ability.
- Excellence - The state or quality that demonstrates that someone or something is of a high standard.
- Respect - Treating all others as important and worthwhile individuals.
- Care - Supporting, accepting, understanding and empathising with people while being concerned for their well-being.
- Equity - Nurturing a working and living environment which promotes acceptance.
- Stewardship - Caring for the physical, financial and human resources of the organisation as if they were my own.
